A Word for Our Arbor Family
When my sisters called me to say that our dad wasn’t doing well, my heart dropped and I became worried about one thing - Is Dad saved!?
You can know about God, and be raised in a Christian home, but it doesn’t mean you are automatically saved, simply by being exposed to Him. This lead me to think about my sisters and other family members. I started feeling this heavy burden because I realized I’ve never had conversations with them about salvation. I’ve never asked the questions. We often think that our own family will dismiss us because they would see us as a know-it-all or will say comments like, “Here she comes again.”
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Having salvation talks and presenting salvation to our families is the biggest act of love we can offer them. So, I challenge you today to think about a family member, give them a call, and present salivation. Introduce them to Jesus.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” (Romans 1:16)
